I purchased three copies of this game for two friends and myself to play online but we all get the same failure to find the network. I can't find any support to solve this problem and would like to know what we have to do to use this game online. If this is not available then they should not be selling this game. The single player is great the game itself is great but with no multiplayer it is a big loss.
If you are an F1 fan you will enhance your gaming experience and your F1 fan experience by playing this gameF1: Formula One Championship Edition.
absolutely cannot believe how good this game is. sure, there's no force feedback and the physics aren't completely spot on/don't reflect how easy it is to spin around an f1 car.but this is truthfully the best racing game on any platform. i just switched to the ps3 solely to play this game. a bit of a relic now that it is 2 years old, but if you like f1 at all or just appreciate sim racers on major platforms.pick it up.
So say you qualify your end-of-the-field car in the top 10 and want to race later on the day, you can't. Despite the aggressive AI, I can have some good fun with this game. This game can be purchased for 20,00 if you actually bother to look elsewhere (online is not always the only way). In F1 you don't have do overs but this isn't real F1. I keep a budget cut-off line price for games and I suggest others try such, it helps with impulse buys and it's better to wait and hope Codemasters releases a good F1 game next year, not something like DiRT or GRiD. Say you go into the race and start well but then have the AI turn into you and lock tires, making you steer off and spin, or break something. This F1 game can be fun if you're very casual about it.
Yes this is a very limited game but you can get hours of fun from it.A good buy for [.]. This is no simulation at all and not too accurate. It has Career Mode, Championship, Time Trial and Online (which isn't supported by PSN anymore). The game is a bit frustrating because you cannot save your progress made during a race weekend. I'm a massive F1 fan, have been following it as far back as my memory goes (back to Senna-Prost-Mansell days) as a small kid, and suckers like me can't resist and give in to temptation. Race over, no restart, all hard work gone down the drain. I want to be able to enjoy different parts of the race weekend whenever I want, not be a slave to it.Grand Prix 2,3,4 all allowed you to save your progress whenever, even during a race. but I'd advise against buying if it costs any more than [.]. However, if you can't wait and don't find this game for cheap, go back to PS1 F1 games or the better computer sims (GPL, GTR2, Richard Burns Rally).
I found this game very fun to play when I got it. Its graphics are close to reality, but the game seemed more as an arcade game which is fine but I like a bit of realism in handling. Its really fun if you have a steering wheel cause its a little hard to control if you just have a remote but it great both ways. Overall 4 stars
